Notre entretien avec Samuel Forey, journaliste indépendant et écrivain, à l'occasion de la publication de son premier ouvrage Les Aurores incertaines. Dans ce livre il revient sur les années passées au Proche et Moyen-Orient. De la révolution de 2011 en Egypte à la Turquie puis à la guerre contre l'Etat islamique en Syrie et Irak, jusqu'à la bataille de Mossoul en 2017. C'est pour la couverture de cette bataille, au cours de laquelle il sera blessé et qui lui coûtera la perte d'un ami proche, qu'il recevra en 2017 les prix Albert-Londres et Bayeux-Calvados.
