With anti-advocacy legislation still in play in the Kurdistan Regional Government's Parliament, the situation for the queer community in Iraq and Kurdistan is more uncertain than it has been in decades. In this first of two episodes with guest Kween B, we explore the complicated nature of gender and politics in the region, as well as the issues the transgender community in Iraq and Kurdistan face specifically.
