Jaco Beerends is the Consul General for the Netherlands in KRI. His agenda contains five different pillars, including focusing on local economics and security to ensure growth in the Kurdistan region as well as with Dutch-Kurdish relations in the future. In particular, we focus on agricultural sustainability and conservation as a cornerstone for this plan, and merging of environment and economic agendas in the coming generation .
